Mild Pepper "Numex Eclipse".
Chocolate dessert in the garden! Ideal for grilling.
A mid-season and high-yielding variety that will be the highlight of your garden. Plants 60-100 cm tall produce an abundant harvest (up to 12 fruits per bush).
The variety was developed in 1988 at the famous Chili Pepper Institute at New Mexico State University (NMSU, USA).
Obtained by crossing "Permagreen" and "New Mexico 6-4". It is a sibling to "Numex Sunrise" and "Numex Sunset".
Authors: Drs. Bosland, Iglesias, and Tanksley.
Characteristics:
* Appearance: Fruits are elongated (10-15 cm), pointed. During ripening, they change color from green to rich chocolate brown.
* Taste and Texture: The flesh is dense, meaty. The taste is sweet, with pronounced fruity notes.
* Use: Great for fresh consumption, freezing, canning, and any kind of preserves. Thanks to the dense texture, they are perfect for grilling.

Paprika Numex Eclipse

Agrotechnics.
1. Sowing (February-March).
Sow seeds for seedlings in late February – early March. Optimal temperature: day +26...+28°C, night +18...+22°C. Prick out at the phase of 1-2 true leaves. Harden off seedlings two weeks before planting out.
2. Planting Out (May-June).
Plant in unheated greenhouses in May, outdoors in late May – early June (when the threat of frost has passed).
Spacing: 60x40 cm (greenhouse) or 45x45 cm (open ground).
Soil should be light, loose, rich in organic matter, with a neutral reaction.
3. Care.
* Watering: Only with warm water at the root, after sunset. Peppers like moist soil but dry air.
* Feeding: Nitrogen fertilizers throughout the season, phosphorus-potassium for better fruit setting.
* Pruning: Regularly remove all side shoots and leaves on the main stem up to the first fork. Important: remove the "king flower" (the central flower in the first fork) — this will significantly increase the total yield. Regular soil loosening is also necessary for root development.
